Headed down to Dungeness,Kent with Donna for the showy Cattle Egrets & to pick up some quality birds around the local area for the year & more importantly new birds for Donna!! 1st stop was around Staines due to a motorway closure we took in a small diversion picking up about 30+ Ring Necked Parakeets flying out from their roost,we finally arrived at Dungeness about 10am & were soon having fantastic views of the Cattle Egret & a nice flyover female Merlin on the reserve we picked up Smew,Kingfisher,Great White Egret,Peregrine & Bittern making Donna's day as Bittern was the 1 bird she really wanted to see............. Cattle Egrets were the birds I wanted for a Photo tick so some below..................
